Location: University of Pretoria, University of Leeds and FANRPAN

Deadline: 4th December, 2020.

Summary: Food Research Network for Africa calls for application for postdoctoral research fellowship in the University of Pretoria, University of Leeds and FANRPAN and it is a three year project which starts from January 2021.

Details: FSNet-Africa is a partnership between the University of Pretoria, the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) and (FANRPAN) which aims to conduct research that enhances understanding of Africa food systems and identify climatesmart, nutrition-sensitive, poverty-reducing interventions in six focus countries: Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia.

FSNet-Africa is a three-year project (starting January 2021) funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund under the auspices of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA). FSNet-Africa will collaboratively produce context-relevant, interdisciplinary research through creating 2-year long structured opportunities for 30 early career research fellows (ECRFs) to (i) conduct impact-focussed interdisciplinary research related to African food systems, (ii) build lasting research networks, and (iii) develop their skills to translate their research impactfully.
